Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
having horrible leg cramps inside thighs and back of hamstrings, doctors suggesting MRI and MRA of lumbar and hip areas. Cost sounds high, any suggestions on which to budget for first, or any homeopathic remedies? pain starts when trying to stand or sit up from low seat or bed. thanks
Dear patient Bilateral leg cramps is mostly due to calcium deficiency or due to vascular narrowing. But if it is due to vascular narrowing it appears after walking certain distance and relieved by rest. So I would advise first undergo blood calcium and phosphorus levels and then if it turns nnormal then go for mri of lumbosacral spine.
