Suggest Treatment For Hornet Sting With Swelling And Discharge

Three days ago I was stung by a hornet on the back of my neck it is swollen and draining a what looks like serosang draingage, but I cant wash this of. It has opened to the size of a nickel the center. I find myself nauseated and difficulty turning my head, headaches, I have tried to clean it up but it is next to impossible. What is going on with this any ideas? I am a ER RN but I can t don t know? Please advise Lora Booth

hiii.welcome to our site.as per your question, you are having inflammatory reaction to hornet sting.dont squeeze or scratch the lesion.maintain good hygiene.apply fusiderm ointment twice daily on the area for 5 days.take analgesics like tablet ibuprofen twice daily for days.take tablet levocetrizine twice daily for 5 days for itching.hope my answer would have helped you.thank you.
