Suggest Treatment For High Pulse Rate Associated With Anxiety

Hello Doctor, I have a high pulse of 116 beats per minute. I ve done ECG, ultrasound, blood test, thyroid check and they came normal. I feel constant anxiety, and when i m anxious my pulse grows rapidly even more. Medications like valerian reduces it to around 80 beats per minute. Is there anything to worry about or it s just an anxiety? Is there anything I can do to eliminate high pulse completely? I also feel twitching when resting in my legs and arms. Thank you.

Hello, Palpitations can be caused by anxiety, panic attacks, and underlying heart conditions etc. The best way to get rid of our palpitations is to exercise frequently and try to eat a healthy diet. Valeria is a good option as to other antiarrhythmic drugs because of fewer side effects. Warm regards
