Suggest Treatment For High Heart Rate
I gave blood on Monday. When exercising on a bicycle or treadmill on Wed. And Thurs. my heart rate would get to a higher rate like 140 much sooner than normal. I am 64 years old. Is this normal? Normally it takes about 45 minutes for my heart rate to get that high. Yesterday it only took about five minutes.

Hear rate of the individual depend on the activity and variable from person to person.

But you should be evaluated properly by cardiologist.
Along with hear rate, ST wave should be correlated in the ECG.
High heart rate can be treated by beta blocker under the advice of cardiologist.
