Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure

I m 49 and very active physically. Since March 21, my blood pressure readings have been elevated. On March 21, it was 140/90. On April 4, it was 157/100. Today it was 181/96. I am Breast Cancer Survivor so I see my Oncologist every 6 months. Had no need for a PCP. Should I get a Primary Care Physician to monitor this current issue with blood pressure?

Hi,

Consult a physician and get evaluated.

If the blood pressure recordings are persistently high, you have to start on antihypertensives.

As of now, avoid salt-rich foods.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
