Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure And Nausea
My left eye was severely blood shot this morning after not feeling quite right this morning. It didn t get any worse during the day. However, I didn t have any pep all day and I took it easy. About 30 minutes after dinner about 7:00 I felt rather nausous so I checked My blood preesure. It was 171 over 103 so I took my beta blocker (which I usually take about 8:30 ), dropped to 165 over 90 within 20 minutes but I started shaking slightly. Been another 20 minutes and not shaking. . Should I be worried?
Hi welcome to him I understand your query and concern. Hypertension in your case should immediately treated or else leads to complications like ischemia of brain and heart. Also get an ECG'2D Echo, lipid profile, chest x ray immediately as a part of screening of your heart.I also advise you to monitor your blood pressure and heart rate immediately, if blood pressure is greater than 140/90 mmHg you need to start anti hypertensives like Telmesartan, diuretics or beta blockers. Also you may need pantoprazole.Restrict your salt intake to less than 6 gm per day.Avoid smoking and alcohol.Avoid fatty foods and take salt restricted high protein diet.Consult your cardiologist for expert management. Post your further queries if any, Thank you.
