Suggest Treatment For High BP Along With Neck And Lower Back Pain

I have neck and lower back disk issues and am being treated by a pain specialist and a orthopedic surgeon. No surgery yet but if the pain doc can t do anything about the pain ....but that is not my question, just background info. I also have type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. I have noticed over the past few days I have on my left side in between collar bone and Shoulder I have radiating throbbing numbing pain that starts low in shoulder and radiates up into the neck and its like all going numb. What is going on and why? I take Lyrica for nerve pain in feet but this is new ....it s actually happening right now. IF I stop push on the area and massage it ..it does go away for a bit but always comes back.
