Hello Doc,

I am 49 years and I have been suffering with reflux for the past 5 to 6 years......but i guess i never took it seriously and went about my daily routine....to be frank, i am a fitness freak....i work out all 7 days....i do indian classical dance bharathanatyam, i play badminton invariably 5 days, i do weights 3 times a week, i go for yoga, i go for bollywood dancing classes.....so thats me....but in the past two months my pain in the middle of my chest has increased and has started bothering me....i am feeling a bit tired and feel short of breath most of the time....as a result i my daily work out is disturbed...i am not feeling 100% fit to play or dance.....i suddenly feel the palpitation in the middle.....i used to play 8 to 10 games of badminton without any problem but now after 4 games i feel short of breath and uncomfort, ya also the pain.....i cant touch that area.....my stools are black......but also doc i am getting treatment for my hair loss.....so i am taking biofer, zincovet, and nurlin.....so i dont know if my stool discoloring is because of the iron tablet....i consulted gastroentrologist, surgeon and did endoscopy and the report says i have hiatas herenia....i did a scan for gallbladder, kidney, uterus, spleen.....the scan was normal, no problem....please advise me doctor.....my life is disturbed.....i am not feeling as active as i used to be.....i am hesitant to disclose it to my friends.....and they think the quality of my game has dropped....but i know the reason....even i am not regular with my other classes....i would really appreciate if you could help me.....my name is pinky and i am an indian, total vegetarian, but at present living in srilanka.....
