Suggest Treatment For Hearing Loss

At what age should I see a Dr. About my balace & hearing loss. I am 43 years old, and been experiencing these problems for about 4 years now. I used to be an active gymnast & exerciser until about age 35 when I had my first child. My hearing loss is obvious to others, but my balance issues & eye site loss I ve kept hidden. I refuse to wear any high heeled shoes at all anymore. I m still able to walk/jog & have run 5ks twice a year. Should I see a Dr.?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There is no specific age at which an evaluation should occur.

If you are experiencing hearing loss and loss of balance, you should be evaluated by your doctor no matter the age.

The evaluation would include physical examination and investigations. Imaging such as a CT, may be needed.

I hope this helps
