Suggest Treatment For Hearing Loss While Suffering From Cold

I have a bad head cold. Which I ve had for a week now. My head is stopped up on the left side to the point of not being able to hear out of my left ear. I have no pain in that ear that maybe an infection would cause. I m not really coughing a lot but I do spit out some muchus every now and then but not enough to feel a difference in my head. I am a 56 year old male with no medical problems and to my knowledge I am not allergic to anything. I m not on any medication. What would you suggest?

Hello,
It may be that your ear is infected or has fluid behind the drum. You need to see a doctor for an evaluation if this does not clear up soon. Adults do not always have pain with an ear infection.
