Suggest Treatment For Headaches, Fatigue And Constipation

23 y/o female- hx anxiety, GERD, and mild hypoglycaemia and on Prozac 30 mg. 2.5 weeks ago had severe diarrhea with virus symptoms (malaise, fatigue, no appetite) 4 days and then constipation (troubles passing gas also) for 5 days. Symptoms alleviated with one dose of suppository laxitave and then restora lax taken once daily for 5 days and so far (past 3 days) returned to regular stool patterns. I am still experiencing some symptoms of malaise, once or twice a day with small headaches and fatigue. What could be wrong with me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is normal to experience some fatigue after a viral infection. Make sure you do keep yourself hydrated and eat a proper amount of food. If you are not getting better in another week or you notice any worsening you will need to have a check with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
