Suggest Treatment For Headaches And Drowsiness During Pregnancy

Hi Doctor. I am 17 weeks pregnant. Two days back I landed up in emergency room due to heart pain and frequent faintness. Palms and Toes were cold otherwise are generally warm. In emergency my ECG, Bood Sugar, BP, temperature everything came normal. As per doctor baby is normal as well. I drank a lot of Glucose in emergency and felt a bit better and came home. Still I have headache and little drowsiness. What could be the reason ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing to HCM.
Headache and drowsiness what you are experiencing during pregnancy could be due to low energy levels.
Anyway, you have been checked thoroughly for the causes leading to it and found things to be normal. Also since the baby is also doing fine, there is nothing much to be worried about.
Take adequate rest. Eat healthy and nutritious food at proper intervals. Drink good quantity of fluids.
You can take Tablet. Praracetamol 500mg to get relief from headache.
Continue to get your antenatal check-ups properly done.
Wish you a healthy outcome. All the best.
