Suggest Treatment For Hard Lump Above Knee Post Injury

I was in a UTV accident about 2 months ago and my leg was hit with a bar just above the knee and it's still swollen and saggy. There is a hard lump and it's the size of my hand. Should I worry about a blood clot or how can I treat it to make the swelling go down? It beginning to worry me.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The lump should go down on its own though it can sometimes take months to occur.

IF it is painful then you can have it reviewed but if there is no discomfort then you continue to monitor it.

I hope this helps
