Suggest Treatment For Hard Bump At The Bottom Of The Foot
Hi, I had a very hard bump on the bottom of my foot (where a scar was) so it started hurting today so I went to try and dig whatever it was out and its a very hard white tiny ball that came out, I had to pull it out with tweezers, I just was wondering what it could be.
It could be a corn in foot. It is painful so to remove it you can use a corn cap or it should be operated if it won't go even if the use of corn cap. By giving local anesthesia the surgery should be done deep.
Complete corn should be removed other wise there will be recurrence after operation. Dressing should be done with a gauze soaked in Betadine lotion.
Healthy tissue should grow from bottom other wise there will be pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ashok Kumar Dash, Ophthalmologist
