Suggest Treatment For Hair Loss On Crown Of Head

Hi Doc, I have been facing a problem with less hair on central portion of scalp since many years. I have gone through the treatment long time back but no appreciable change. The treatment was for almost 2 years. But now again started with treatment. But faced a problem of itching and irritation at scalp, ears, nose, neck and hands. So my Dr stopped Morr 2% solution for few days and asked me to continue the Menofit tablets. I wish to know how long this treatment will take? Why itching has occured? Any side effect of Menofit?

Hello,

You can continue with menofit tablets. Morr 2% solution is effective only for time period when it is used.

Instead you can try other measures to stop hair fall like PRP therapy (platelet rich plasma).

U suggest you to consult a dermatologist for clinical assessment and therapy with PRP.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri
