Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I saw a Dr. regarding pain in my groin area. I am a 45 year old female. he told me that this type of condition is very rare in women. I don't remember any trauma to the area at all. after a poor attempt at searching for a blood clot which came back negative, he suggested I take a mild muscle relaxer and a anti inflamatory (pretnazone) well nothing is helping I have tried stretching and all that does is make my leg feel like it wants to "pop" at the joints??? like how you crack your knuckles I can lay on my side with my legs together and slighty move my left leg back and forth and that joint will crack every single time I move my leg. That still doesn't give my any relief from the pain, when I sit for more than 20 minutes my leg gets stiff and I can hardly walk. any advise? I don't want to just be told to take pain relivers and be on my way. the pain has now started to radiate down the front of my leg.
please help
