Suggest Treatment For Gastrointestinal Virus

Hi! I'm writing from Greece. My son has a gastral intestinal virus, vomiting for 3 nights and kept him on a dry diet! He drinks Gaturate too! But he burps often and it has a foul smell, like raw eggs! Should I worry and seek into the situation more? He has no fever ans his energy level is on and off. Thanks. Worries Greek mom

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is the obvious symptoms of gastritis and it is the vomiting is then patient should be kept nil by mouth till stops the vomiting and for vomiting Domperidone or Ondansetron can be given orally in sever vomiting medicine needs to be given through injectable route, once the vomiting comes under control or stops then it is nothing to worry, hope this information helps.
