Suggest Treatment For Gastritis

I have been diagnosed with low/decreased motility and have significant gastritis and increased acid secretion in the stomach. Due to this I have varied bio-availability of medications depending on the amount of acid in my stomach and gastric emptying time. I have been prescribed Reglan for such issues. I am wondering if increasing the gastric emptying time of medications, particularly Oxycodone will increase or decrease its absorption. If Oxycodone is absorbed in the small intestine versus the stomach, is it correct that a decreased exposure time to the Hcl in the stomach and an increased gastric emptying time into the small intestine will increase its absorption?

Thank you for posting your query.

your diagnosis is gastroparesis.
are you diabetic? what is the cause of decrease motility?

Reglan with facilitate stomach motility and thus emptying the stomach.
You may take it atleast 20 minutes BEFORE meal.

secondly, why do you need to take oxycodone? you did not mention in history. its an analgesic and maybe taken after meals. its has vast systemic affects. 60to 70% of oxycodone is usually absorbed when taken orally.

hope to answer your concern.
