Suggest Treatment For Gastritis And Nausea

Hi, I ve been having stomach problems for quite some time now. Lately, the problem is I have hardly felt hungry, and when I do eat I get this terrible gas and I also feel very nauseous. I haven t thrown up, but that s mostly because I hold it in or because I ve hardly eaten. I don t know what the problem is, but I also know I have a sharp pain on right side of my abdomen. Also, I sometimes feel better after I burp. If it helps your evaluation, I am a vegetarian. Help!

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It sounds as though you are experiencing bloating.

This may be associated with different causes such as the use of particular foods or it may be due to GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease).

There are some foods that are associated with increased gas production such as: cabbage, carbonated drinks, beans, turnips, brussel sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower

In addition if you initiate treatment for GERD, this may also be helpful. This involves medications such as prevacid, prilosec, nexium

One of these can be used.

I hope this helps
