Suggest Treatment For Gall Stones

hello doctor.. yesterday i was diagnosed wd a 13mm stone in the leumen and calculi in neck of the gall bladder..with thick n edematous wall in my ultrasound report.. though i hv no symptomes..no vomiting no fever no nausea..should i go for surgery.. will it effect my digestion post surgery.. m 25 yr female overweight.. bt i am losing weight since past few months. n dropped almost 7 kg.. i m reluctant to go for a surgery.. n i hv heard bout stone flushes also.. plz guide if i can avoid surgery..only problem i feel is litle indigestion some times..

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have gall stone with thickened wall suggest cholecystitis. If you don't have obstructive jaundice, no any pain, fever and other symptoms then nothing to worry about that. You can wait. You should take antibiotics like ofloxacin and ornidazole. Drugs to dissolve stones can be tried. If it is bot treated medically then surgery is the treatment of choice.
