Suggest Treatment For Fungal Skin Infection On The Big Toe

Big toes, bruises (?) left one worse also nail lifted along one edge part way down to nail bed. Is this fungus. Don t recall hurting my toes or dropping anything. Had a fungus a few years ago and took medication for 3 months but it is not recommended as it damages liver. Appt with doctor next Friday. The foot clinic technician said to check it out. Wasn t sure if fungus Nothing is a yellow color. Pat Kenna female 75

Hello,

Your mentioned symptoms point towards bacterial infection of superficial tissue.

You can apply topical antibiotic cream over that like neomycin for that.

However, if you can post a photo of lesion than I can comment further.
