Suggest Treatment For Fungal Infection In The Groin And Thighs For Over Two Months

Hi , I am suffering from fungal infection(on groin and thighs) since over 2 months. I had consulted a doctor who had asked me to take terbinafine and use candid soap and powder which has reduced the infection for about 50%. Now on doctor s suggestion i have been using lulicanazole ointment and itercanazole tablets since 10 days and see no significant improvement. Please suggest what do I do for quick and permanent recovery.

Hi,

Fungal infection is notorious to recur and also takes long to heal. You already had local use of Terbinafine, with good results to cure it completely oral antifungal course foe a long duration is advisable. Your doctor has advised oral and local antifungal from that point of view. You would need to take it for few weeks, depending on the severity of relief you get.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
