Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Frequent urination, especially during night could be due to following reasons: 1. Diabetes mellitus. 2. Enlarged prostate gland. 3. Urinary tract or urinary bladder infection. Kindly get the following investigations done. 1. Fasting glucose level, Post-prandial glucose level and Glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) to know the glucose homeostasis. 2. Urine routine examination and Urine Culture - Sensitivity test. 3. Trans-rectal ultrasound scan for enlarged prostate. Kindly consult Urologist with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate course of management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
