Suggest Treatment For Frequent Stools Caused Post Radiation Therapy For Anal Cancer

I had anal cancer 7 years ago and still have problems from the radiation from frequent stools. I have a hard time making it to the bathroom and wondered if I can take pepto bismol everyday? my doctor suggested meamucil but that doesn t seem to work. I am at the point I don t want to go out and risk an accident. Thank you.
