Suggest Treatment For Frequent Dizzy Spells

After a 10hour flight I have been having frequent dizzy spells. Not so much that I faint from them but I just get really light headed. I had this feeling when I travelled before but did not last this long. I am also very tired at sometimes. I am 35 years old and my height is 176cm and a weight of 103kg.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You may developed BPPV or Acute labyrinthitis or vestibular neurinitis or infections or eustachian tube block etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid cool drinks and freeze water. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use tablet Diligon twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
