Suggest Treatment For Frequent Bowel Movement

My 14 year old daughter has made bowel movements a serious issue. She has overflowed the toilet a couple times and now she will hold it and eventually just go on herself. This has been an off and on issue fir about two years. I have no idea how to handle this.
