General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to inflammatory bowel syndrome. Finding the food which stimulate that and avoiding it is helpful to some extent. Raw vegetables, cauliflower, broccoli ,popcorn, coffee or energy drinks can cause attacks in some. A consultation with a gastroenterologist and colonoscopy will be helpful to have a definite diagnosis and to rule out complications. Drugs like mesalazine is helpful in attaining remission in most people.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
