Suggest Treatment For Frenulum Tear
Hi Doc, I had a frenulum tear in male genital organ a week ago. I had been practicing clean hygiene and self-dressing the wound for the past 1 week twice a day. I dress it with chlorhexidine wash and tetracycline ointment over it (prescribed by a doc who suggested that suturing would not be necessary and that it would heal). However I occasionally get random seepage of blood here and there. It has been a week. What do you advise? Thanks.

It seems that there might be having cut on phrenulum giving rise some induration and swelling.
continue dressing with antibiotic cream after proper cleaning.
Avoid sex for few days.
It will heal gradually.
If problem persisted then go for one short course of antibiotic medicine for 3-5 days.
Ok and take care.
