Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I developed blisters after much walking in heels. That was middle April. They healed fine but now I am left with redness or darkened skin where the blisters once were - on top of 3 toes. With sandal season upon us, how can I reduce this discoloration?
Firstly use sandals with softer soles and avoid wearing very tight foot wear. You can wash your legs twice daily with warm water and then dry it and apply an antibiotic cream like Neomycin and polymyxin B combination thrice daily for 7 days. Use moisturiser to keep skin moist. Avoid walking bare foot.
