Suggest Treatment For Food Poisoning And Diarrhea

My husband and I started having stomach problems last night about 3 hours after eating caritas at a Mexican restaurant, first it felt like indigestion. Then I had sharp pains in my stomach. My husband started throwing up, but I had diarrhea. I did feel like throwing up but w able to stop it. I broke out in a sweat and started to feel better. The rest of the night I had diarrhea. I still have it now and it has been around 24 hours. I ve been going to the toilet about 1 to 2 times an hour. Should I go to Urgent Care. I saved some of the stuff I ate in the refrigerator. My email address is: YYYY@YYYY .

Dear madam,
the first rule is to keep taking liquids- by liquids I mean water!! This is to avoid dehydration which will lead to further problems !! In the meantime you can take Imodium (loperamide hydrochloride) and make very strict diet- toasted bread and cheese ( feta or cottage cheese )! Don`t forget liquids! For the stomach pain you can take some spasmolytic agent for example No-Spa (drotaverine hydrochloride)!
I find this answer helpful
