General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Sorry to heard about your sister health. She is having follicular lymphoma which is form of cancer of lymph node. It can be treated by chemotherapy mainly as advised by oncologist. The prognosis depends on many parameters like histological grade, metastasis etc that can be discussed with your oncologist. Her hemoglobin level, red blood cells count and platelet are low that is due to involvement of bone marrow by tumor cells.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
