Suggest Treatment For Fibrotic Shadow On Lungs

Dear Sir, I have been suffering from TB. I have gone through Pre Employment Medical Test Ffor middle east. The medical center had given me UNFIT report due to Spot on Lungs (Fibrotic Shadow) I s there any medicine to vanish this spot by treatment. Best Regards

Thanks for your question on HCM.
Sorry to say but there are no medicines available to remove these scars.
Scar tissue is dead tissue and so harmless thats why medicines are not available as it is not a disease.
It is due to healing process. In lung tissue any insult like infection, trauma can produce healing by either fibrosisor calcification. And these gives appearance of scar tissue on chest x ray. And this will remain as it is through out the life.
One thing you can do. Get done CT THORAX and bronchoscopy with BAL (BronchoAlveolar Lavage) analysis for TB. If both these are negative than you can assure medical center that you are not having active TB, the scar tissue is old lesion only.
