Suggest Treatment For Fever, Sinus Congestion, Sore Throat And Cough

Hello. First time at this site. I m an adult female in good health. I had an URI about 3 weeks ago with low grade fever (99-100), sinus congestion, sore throat, and cough. Strep and flu were ruled out. Everything cleared up except I still have some mild sinus congestion and a persistent dry cough. How long should I wait before seeing my doctor again about the cough?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

So sometimes sinus viral infections or bacterial infections can persist for a longer period. You should wait for another 1 week to get it resolved on its own. After that, you must consult an ENT physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Loveleen Sharma, General & Family Physician
