Suggest Treatment For Fever In A Child

my daughter is 7 yrs old & is running high fever ..... i gave her meftal p & the fever went down within 45 mins but exact after 3 hrs 30 minutes she started shivering & the temperature started rising & i gave her meftal p again after a gap of 4 hrs..... is it safe to gv it after 4 hours..... she starts to shiver a lot

It is safe to give every four hours. However, if this pattern continues beyond 2 days, I recommend consulting with your doctor. Then the correct diagnosis can be made and the appropriate treatment plan implemented.
