Suggest Treatment For Fever, Cough, Cold In Infant

My baby is seven mths had fever cough cold since last Friday.. was given maxtra drops and Pacimol syrup ..now fever is not there but he still has cough another doc gave ascoril should I give or no if to b given what dose ..he cough and cries and is uncomfortable

I understand your concern.
Ascoril contains terbutalin which will help the patient to get rid of excessive secretions by dilatation of air ways. By this way, it gives faster relief from cough and expectoration.
You should definitely give your child this medicine in your case. It is generally given in dose of 2.5 ml two times a day but I would advise you to consult your doctor for exact dosage as it needs to be calculated based on the weight of the child & which strength of syrup you are giving.
