Hello,

It is quite common for Eustachian tube dysfunction to cause recurrent rhinitis. Take antihistamines (cetirizine or diphenhydramine) and decongestants to help control the symptoms. If you are suffering from soreness, inflammation and pain you can take Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen, one stat after food. Be careful while bathing, do not let water enter your ears.

Avoid swimming pools till you are getting your ears treated. Get your ears clinically examined by an ENT. If needed, you will be recommended to get done myringotomy. You will be treated with antibiotics, analgesics, multivitamin containing potassium, magnesium, folic acid, etc.

In the meantime, take Vertin-16, twice daily for 5-7 days to help prevent the symptoms of dizziness and vertigo. Treatment may take some time to reduce the symptoms, avoid driving or doing any heavy work. stay at rest as you are being treated. Do not neglect yourself, it will result in the worsening of the symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
