Suggest Treatment For Fatigue, Leg Weakness, Sleep Disturbances And RLS

over the past year I have had fatigue, leg weakness with falls resulting in injury, restless leg syndrome, sleep disturbances and recently developed constipation. I had also an acute sudden onset of vertigo which was treated with a Medrol dose pack and symptoms abated. I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Do you think I should have a neurological workup for multiple sclerosis?

Hi,

No, let us look at common causes like thyroid disorders and diabetes first rather than a bigger diagnosis. It is better to meet a GP and discuss.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
