Suggest Treatment For Fatigue And High Blood Pressure

I have congestive heart failure but have been doing well. However, the past week has troubled me with fatigue and high blood pressure. Normal for me has been 150/85 but now it has been running 180/90 and today was 175/104. What would be causing this? I am still active and up and about and 94 years old. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Blood pressure that high needs immediate attention even if you know you are hypertensive and you are on medicines. As you have noticed that there is a rise in your blood pressure which in turn leads to serious cardiovascular health issues.

My advice to you for this is going to the ER and get it under control by knowing the reason behind it. As you are already a heart patient, this is something needs immediate medical attention. The doctors in the ER once bring it back to normal and stabilize your symptoms, you can consult a cardiologist and follow his advice on further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
