Suggest Treatment For Eye Stye

I think I have a stye, it s a little spot that s not really a lump. Just a swollen spot, lower eyelid in the middle. The area that touches my eyeball (the spot before my eyelashes) I think there is a tiny lump with a tad bit of white inside. I ve had it for 5 ish days now and it started itching today. This morning it really really hurt and when I tried to open my eye it was stuck, had to blink a few times and once it was open everything was super blurry from that eye. Blinked it away after a little while. Is all this normal or should I be worried? I wash my face several times a day and apply warm and cold wet washcloths to my eye. Sometimes even warm chamomile tea bags. I really want it to get better and go away!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, you are suffering from hordeolum externum (stye)
I would suggest
1) applying antibiotic oinment to your eyelids.
2) Giving adequate hot fomentation.
3) It is advisable to consult an ophthalmologist and to find current status of infection, as in most cases removal of eyelash(epilation) provides complete cure.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
