Suggest Treatment For Eye Pain, Headaches And Frequent Squinting

My eyes are starting to hurt and really a pain and almost headache directly behind my eyes. It is a headache I have never experienced before as mostly I get pain on my forehead or sinuses by the top of my nose. I am squinting a lot, my eyes are heavily dilated, and there is a lot of strain on my eyes to see and focus causing a bit of pain. There are NO blurry spots or light or anything wrong with my vision in that regard. Do you have an idea what the problem could be? I have never had glasses or contacts.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
It seems that you might be having a refractory problem with your eyes. You will most probably need glasses even if you do not have much trouble reading. You might have astigmatism. You will need to be checked by an opthalmologist and get the appropriate treatment. Simple use of corrective glasses could cure you of your pain and eye strain since the symptoms that you described are most commonly seen in eye strain due to refractive error. Good day and take care.
