Suggest Treatment For Excessive Sweating And Odor In Armpit
Who can I see about a excessive armpit sweating and odor? My brother had it really bad and did some sort of minor surgery to help with it, but that was a long time ago. I ve tried so many different deodorants and tired of putting it on multiple times a day as it doesn t make it go away.
1. Strong Antiperspirants containing 10% to 20% aluminum chloride hexahydrate are the first line of treatment for armpit sweating. If there is no response then
2. Inj Botox is used to treat severe underarm sweating. Botulinum toxin injected into the underarm temporarily block the nerves that stimulate sweating.
3. For severe cases Endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy (ETS) is done. The procedure cuts a nerve, turning off the signal that tells the body to sweat excessively.
Hope the treatment options given could be of great help in getting him relieved from hyperhidrosis.
