I have excessive mucus draining from my sinuses, therefore, I cough a lot. Occasionally there is so much that I have to spit it out for a prolonged period of 15 to 20 minutes. It is clear, no color. I have tried IC mg Guaifenesin AC Cough Syrup, Robitussin DM, Nyquil, Tylenol Allergy Sinus (4 mg Chlorpheniramine maleate 10 mg Phenylphrine HCl). Nothing seems to help. I am being treated for High Blood Pressure with Lisinopril 20mh 2x/day and IC Hydrochlorothiazide 25mg 1x/day. My doctor seems to like me to use Claritin but it doesn t seem to do anything. The others take away some of the coughing for a little while. Nyquil helps with sleeping.
