Hi,

Thanks for your question.

After going through your question, I can understand your concern.

As you have mentioned there is fair control of diabetes.
But it need to be verified by HbA1c value.
HbA1c tells blood sugar control over a period of 3 to 4 months.

For thyroid problem you need to continue thyroid supplement as per T4 & TSH levels.

Erectile dysfunction in case of diabetes is because of -
- Diabetes neuropathy.
- Vasculopayhy endothelial dysfunction. Endothelium is a lining of blood vessels which releases NO. NO is a vasodilator (dilation of blood vessels) which is responsible for erection.

In case of erectile dysfunction following measures may be advisable -
1) Good blood sugar control.
2) Blood pressure control.
3) Cholesterol control.
4) Avoid Smoking.

Use of penegra (Sildenafil prolongs action of NO by showing it's degradation) can be considered after cardiac evaluation.
As it may cause problems when used in the presence of heart disease and certain medicine for heart disease like nitrates.
So it is advisable to consult with your treating doctor before using Penegra.

Hope this helps you, if so do vote as helpful.
