Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your anxiety.
If your PSA is 0.88,there should be no cause for worry. The biopsy is final.
your Urologist may've felt some nodular or firm area on rectal examination.
That's the indication for your biopsy. That'll clear the doubt of malignancy.
Usually,a TRUS (trans rectal scan) is also done, before doing the biopsy.
If you've any doubt, send the reports to me,as a direct question.
Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
