Suggest Treatment For Elevated Fasting Blood Sugar Levels
i checked my dad s 8 hours fasting BSL it was 330 in the morning , later int he night his random was 480 . he is taking lantus insulin 20 units a day and amaryl 4mg . i somehow switched his janumet 50/1000 with triviamet 50/1000 two months back. please guide me what should i do control his BSL.

Oral anti DM drugs Amaryl and Triviamet (Sitagliptin/metformin) and inj. Lantus insulin.
But still FBS 330 and night 480 not controlled.
Consult your doctor change to Inj. H.Mixtard (30/70) to Lantus insulin. Before that check your HbA1C level.
