Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection In A 18 Months Old Child

My son is 18 months old, he has been on amoxicillan for an ear infection since monday. Hes had a "rattle" in his chest for a while now, and the doctor says its nothing. Thursday night, he vomited 3 times, once friday morning, and once just now (saturday night), however his vomit has been orange. What does this mean?

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Amoxycillin is the right drug for ear infection.
The vomiting may be due to the drug itself, hence it imparts the orange color to the drug.
Either you dilute the drug with water to mask the taste or ask your doctor to prescribe an alternate drug.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
