Suggest Treatment For Dry Hacking Cough And Mild Wheezing

I have been coughing a dry hacking cough with audible wheezes on inspiration- I am coughing to the point where I have vomit...everytime a coughing fit comes on I have this feeling..I have been taking ventolin ouffer 2 times a day and salbutomol prn....is there something else I should be doing? I had this a few months ago as well minus the vomiting

First of all I will prefer to rule out Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease. Do you feel heartburn? Pain in left side and middle of abdomen? taste change in mouth? Indigestion??
If yes, you have to take Omeprazole40mg twice daily before meals. Consult your physician for that.


For Asthma, wheeze, cough, and vomiting, you need to consult a Pulmonologist who is trained to treat such patients. If I was your treating physician I would have prescribed you Azithromycin antibiotic, Montelucast daily at night, Claritin 1 tablet daily , a cough syrup and Of course a follow-up after 10days.
