General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It can be bronchitis, allergic or asthmatic in origin. Take tablet Deriphyllin three times with cough syrup like Zedex syrup over the counter. Consult a chest physician for physical examination and needful investigations followed by specific antibiotic, broncho-dilator, anti allergic pills as per need. Avoid oily, spicy, sour, cold eatables. Drink warm water only. Avoid exposure to dust, or known allergens.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
