Suggest Treatment For Dry Cough, Tightness In Chest And Sore Throat

37 yo female has a upper resp infection involving dry cough, then turns productive yellowish phelgm, chest tightness/ pain, mild sore throat only in the am (with white tonsillar exudate) for 2 weeks. ahd chest xray was negative and was told URI with prescriptions for Augmentin and Naproxen. Abx course now for 4 days, but now with severe progressive weakness of the lower extremities, pins and needles followed by numbness x 1 week. Some days are so bad with unsteady gait and a limp. Then the next day, may have very little symptoms at all or will start the day as normal but as the activity of the days increases, so does the fatigue and muscle weakness.

Hi, Your feature warns me to refer you at the earliest to meet respiratory physician , Neuro physician in a ICU setup hospital. It may be post URI Guillen Barre syndrome. Rush in before it get worst. Take care
