Hi I ve a cough for more than 5 weeks now. At first a dry cough, then last week it turned productive. I was also constipated for 6 days and now have stomach cramps. I ve had 2 rounds of antibiotics and 2 rounds of Nubulization. Still the cough persists.Any ideas?
Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.
In this scenario when you are done with 2 rounds of antibiotics. 1) You need broad spectrum antibiotic. 2) You need to get a checkup for culture to know the exact culprit causing the problem.
I would suggest you not to panic , and visit your doctor as soon as possible and discuss a management change.
I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you. Regards.
